Playing rules explained:You are initially presented with a grid of hidden squares.
Some randomly selected squares, unknown to you, are designated to contain mines.

The game is played by revealing squares by clicking each square.
If a square containing a mine is revealed, the game is over.
If no mine is revealed, a digit is displayed in the square, indicating how many adjacent squares contain mines; if no mines are adjacent, the square becomes blank.
You can use this information to deduce the contents of other squares, making the game not only fun, but also a logical exercise.
